1. Service Description

PawIQ ("we," "us," or "our") is a pet health management platform that allows users to track their pets' health records, documents, vaccinations, vet visits, medications, expenses, and insurance information. By using PawIQ, you agree to these Terms of Service.

PawIQ is operated by PetInsureNow.com. Our services are available at pawiq.pet and via our mobile web application.

2. User Accounts

To use PawIQ, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized account access at hello@pawiq.pet

You must be at least 13 years old to use PawIQ. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use PawIQ for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Upload or share content that is harmful, offensive, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to access or interfere with other users' accounts or data
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from PawIQ
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from PawIQ without permission
• Resell or commercialize PawIQ's services without our written consent

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

PawIQ offers a free plan with limited features and paid plans (Premium, Family) with expanded access. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected at checkout.

• Payments are processed securely through our payment processor
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change with 30 days' notice
• Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at hello@pawiq.pet. Upon cancellation:

• You retain access to your paid plan features until the end of the current billing period
• Your account is downgraded to the free plan — your data is never deleted
• Family sharing access is removed for connected family members

6. Not Medical or Veterinary Advice

⚠️ PawIQ is not a veterinary service. All information, calculators, reminders, and tools provided are for informational and organizational purposes only. Nothing on PawIQ constitutes veterinary, medical, or professional advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for your pet's health concerns.

The insurance calculator and reimbursement estimates are approximations based on data you enter. Actual reimbursements depend on your specific policy terms and your insurer's decisions. PawIQ is not affiliated with any insurance provider.

7. Intellectual Property

PawIQ and its content, features, and functionality are owned by PetInsureNow.com and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to PawIQ. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PawIQ and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Decisions made based on information displayed in PawIQ

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

PawIQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@pawiq.pet.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on PawIQ. Continued use of PawIQ after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.
